Fryeburg Fair time
Between Steve’s Fries, Fanny’s Doughnuts and a pair of malicious deep fried Twinkies, it’s a wonder we got out alive. Tripple bypass surgeries aside, we had a wicked fun time at Maine’s Blue Ribbon Classic, the Fryeburg Fair this past week.
We performed six squid-tastic sets at the Gazebo and later, in the evening, at Water Wheel Park. The audiences were lovely and pleasant smelling. They were game to sing and clap along and several went home with Squid Jigger swag. We thank them all. We also thank Tony and Jon for the hospitality and the work. While were at it, we thank all the folks, volunteers and paid staff, who make the whole thing hum and spin for eight days, dawn till dusk. We’re in awe and it was an honor to be part of something so storied and historic.
See you next year.
